Tellez is the happening place to be during the holidays. Their Tamales are some of the best in town. Service is rather quick and friendly. I would advise to get there about a hour early if you need certain Tamales they ran out of bean and jalapenothis morning. I arrived about 5:40 am the doors were open and a line was already formed to the parking lot. Once 6am hit the line flowed smoothly. I would certainly recommend this spot.

My favorite since they opened their location in Leon Valley. The tamales are of great quality and taste consistently good. Gotta get there early if you want more selection of fillings. Bring back the bean and cheese tamales!!

Coming for years and never disappoint. Live this Tamales and Barbacoa.I always buy for people coming out of town and they love it, they always said bring some Tellez's Tamales.Also, they are great for work gatherings, food to the beach and son on. I really recommend Tellez!!

On the weekend before Christmas: 5:50 am arrival, line 45 people deep, 40 mins total time spent. Staff was friendly and efficiently quick and tamales + barbacoa tasty as yoush!

The Tellez family is incredible! We came in to grab some food and as a northerner it’s difficult to find good tortillas or any authentic Tex mex. I ended up getting Barbacoa, chicharron guisado (new favorite), menudo, and of course their tamales. Amazing!!!!!

Been a fan of their barbacoa for years. Visited very recently for barbacoa some thing seems to have changed. Not a big fan anymore!

All meat Barbacoa is really good here. The menudo is good too, and the people who help you out and take your order are so helpful. They have a variety of breakfast tacos and a section where you can sit and eat too. The tamales are delicious also.
